Greetings

Dear readers,

Great literature, like up and coming blogsites, tends to be recursive. You keep going back to it. We've discussed 3 books so far and have had the privilege of meeting the author of these books (Galal Amin & Khaled Khamissi). Some people can make the meetings; some can't. By no means should attendance, or lack of attendance, hinder the impact of these books. The meetings are just there to swap ideas and enhance our interpretations of them. I've collected verbal feedback left and right from various readers, and these comments have only encouraged me to dig further into the literary world of Egypt (and its surrounding regions). I hope that this blogsite may contribute to your literary journey, whether you've consciously chosen this path, stumbled upon it, or were merely dragged along.

Enjoy and happy trails!

-Michelle
